Maximising the Value of Net Zero Planning - The Carbon Trust & Regen
At February’s Future Ready Thursday, Andrew at Regen walked participants through their latest Enable, Embed, Enact paper focused on Maximising the Value of Local Net Zero Planning, detailing the three high-level delivery roles for local authorities in net zero implementation:
- Enable: creating conditions for action
- Embed: integrating net zero in council functions
- Enact: taking direct action to deliver projects
The session built on discussions from the paper launch at the London Quarterly Gathering and pulled insights from participant case studies, interactions with national consultations and governing bodies, and how Net Zero Living can help to define local authority roles in creating tailored net zero plans.
