Net Zero Living reflections & Resources Showcase
Join us for our final Future Ready Thursday Academy session! We’ll be splitting activities into two parts:
Update from Innovate UK
From 10:15, the Net Zero Living team at Innovate UK will join the Future Ready community to reflect on the Net Zero Living programme and community of practice, and hear thoughts on plans for the future.
Resources Showcase
Following Innovate UK’s update, we’ll be joined by Local Partnerships, Net Zero Go, the Local Net Zero Accelerator programme and the Net Zero Hubs for an overview of their respective offers of support to local authorities. They’ll also share the resources and tools available that could be of value to you and colleagues with time for questions.
We look forward to seeing you there!

GBE data collection request, BwB
BwB recently presented the collaboration of UKRI, Great British Energy (GBE), and the Net Zero Living cohort to collect information on energy projects being undertaken at a local authority level which may be relevant for GBE support and in what way. You are invited to complete an Energy Project Data spreadsheet to share relevant information on your energy projects. There are four sheets for multiple projects but please do fill in sheets for as many projects as are relevant.
Please see instructions on the first tab. Data input requirements are:
- Project classification
- Project details
- Energy assumptions
- Financial data
Once completed please send to Harry at BwB. Feel free to email Harry or one of the finance TAP team if you have any questions, they’d be happy to discuss projects and any data concerns.
