Thank you, Rachel
We say goodbye to Rachel Duggan, Senior Consultant at Urban Foresight and early advocate for the Net Zero Living programme. Rachel is heading home to Boston, USA, after several years working for clients in the UK and internationally.
Rachel has made a colossal contribution to the Future Ready service, leading our insights work and supporting delivery across the service right from the start. She has played a significant role in the delivery team and we have loved her commitment, dedication, intelligence, and sensitivity.
We wish Rachel good luck in her next endeavours and look forward to hearing about her work state-side.

Future Ready Annual Report
The first annual report of the Future Ready service makes a crucial milestone in Innovate UK’s Net Zero Living programme.
The report tells the story so far, covering the period from August 2023 to June 2024, through the twin lenses of how to do net zero transition in a place and how to support place-based transition to net zero.
Drawing on evidence and insights from across various touchpoints with Net Zero Living participants and projects, it describes the positive impact being made to local authorities and their places and sets out actions for 2025 to help participating local authorities to determine more actions towards a net zero future.
