Outputs from the sessions held in July will be uploaded to the Insights Library on the Community Platform, alongside supporting materials for the upcoming focus groups. Email invitations inviting you and your colleagues to participate will be circulated this week.
Thank you to everyone for your participation so far, and we’re looking forward to seeing you again soon!
The Net Zero Living Programme is itself taking an innovative approach to delivery. This is the first time that Innovate UK have directly funded local authorities and, also the first time that we are innovating to overcome non-technological challenges. Therefore, the evaluation of this programme will be critical in providing evidence to support future programme business cases. You may receive impact management surveys from Innovate UK which will also be used to help us to assess the effectiveness of the programme but we need more granular detail to build a robust evidence base.
We have appointed Frontier Economics to review and refine our Theory of Change for the programme and develop a baseline survey from which our programme evaluation can occur. We realise that a lot has happened already in your projects and would ask you to think back to when you started your project. We will be carrying out further evaluation surveys around the closure of your projects and around 3 years after they finish to understand the impact that this programme and funding have had in helping to accelerate our journey to net zero.
We really need your input into these surveys as it will be critical to help us to secure further funding to help you and others to find innovative solutions to delivering net zero.
Thank you so much for your support – it is truly appreciated.
