Continuously improving Future Ready

Insights Focus Groups
Urban Foresight ran a series of focus groups at the start of July aimed at gathering deeper insights into emerging areas of interest across the Future Ready cohort.
Focus Group 1
Green skills in local government
Focus Group 2
Integrating health and social care within local net zero
Focus Group 3
Decision-making in housing and retrofit projects
The three sessions saw between 15-30 attendees each, with representation from Future Ready project leads, delivery partners and nominated internal colleagues from our participating local authorities. The Future Ready team are currently building a dedicated Insights space on the Community Platform, where we will share the summary reports from each session.
Thank you to everyone that came along, and we’re looking forward to sharing the insights space with you soon!

The project provides strong foundations to support internal conversations and decision making.”

I am now having discussions/influencing at leadership level in the Council, these have been instigated through a gap analysis on embedding net zero within the Council as well as developing relationships and conversations on net zero with senior leaders. We have included a net zero section in our service delivery plans and this is beginning to influence some services.”
