Women-centric climate stories set in rural India
Faces of Climate Resilience, the winner of the 2023 CMCC Climate Change Communication Award, is a short-documentary series highlighting stories of resilience from India’s most climate-vulnerable regions.
Celebrated for its innovative approach, it humanises climate change by showcasing communities adapting through nature-based solutions and traditional knowledge.
The project was conceptualised and executed by the Council on Energy, Environment, and Water (CEEW) and produced in partnership with India Climate Collaborative, Edelgive Foundation and Drokpa Films.
The series offers an optimistic perspective, moving away from the usual catastrophic narratives of climate change impacts.
