TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE / ALL FUTURENOUGHTS

Diagnosing your Technical Assistance

A recent session was held to introduce the four new Technical Assistance Partners to the Future Ready Community, and reconnect with the business engagement and data Technical Assistance Partners.

The session gave Futurenoughts an overview of offered support – from workshops, focus groups, one-to-one support and written reports.

From now until the end of June, the Technical Assistance Partners will be getting in touch with Futurenoughts on a one-to-one basis to take you through a diagnostic survey. The survey will assess the support required for each project and place.

You can view the initial survey on the Community Platform by following this link.

Policy working groups

Regen, your Technical Assistance Partner for policy and regulations, has introduced six policy working groups. The working groups provide spaces for Futurenoughts undertaking similar projects and facing similar challenges to convene. The six working groups are:

  • Retrofit and heat
  • Transport and mobility
  • Biodiversity and agriculture
  • Smart local energy systems and community energy
  • Strategic planning (LAEPs and data)
  • Supply chain and procurement.

The working groups will also provide a platform to obtain expert input and expertise. They will serve as a conduit for specific one-to-one or tailored small group support for projects, forming the backbone of how Regen works with Futurenoughts to respond to future policy consultations that impact local authorities’ ability to deliver local net zero projects.

Please fill out this form to indicate which Policy Working Groups you would like to be part of.

Collaborative consultation: Review of Electricity Market Arrangements (REMA)

Regen, your Technical Assistance Partner for policy and regulations, recently held a session with Futurenoughts to respond to the government’s consultation on the Review of Electricity Market Arrangements (REMA).

This involved the development of a policy briefing document, online workshop and production of the consultation response itself.

All of the REMA outputs can be found here on the Future Ready Community platform.
